Privacy Policy for Contact Cleanup

Creators of this app ("we", "our", or "us") operate the Contact Cleanup mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

Information the App Accesses

The App accesses your device's contacts (read and write permissions) to allow you to review, delete, and restore contacts. This access is required for the App's core functionality. You grant this access through Android's standard permission prompts, and you can revoke it at any time in your device's Settings.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information only on your device, in the App's private storage:

• A copy of contacts you choose to delete, retained in the in-app Recycle Bin so you can restore them later.
• A list of contacts you mark as "Saved for Later" so you can review them again.

This information is never transmitted to us, never uploaded to a server, and never shared with any third party. When you uninstall the App, this data is deleted along with it.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect or transmit your contacts to any external server.
• We do not have user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or profile.
• We do not track your usage of the App through analytics.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data.

Third-Party Services

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a Google service. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID)
• General information about your device (model, OS version, language)
• Approximate location based on IP address
• Interaction with ads shown in the App

This data is collected and used by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. The App does not access or store this data itself.

You can limit ad tracking by opening your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads (path may vary by device) and selecting "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".

Permissions Used

• Read Contacts: to display your contacts for review.
• Write Contacts: to delete contacts you choose to remove, and to restore contacts from the Recycle Bin.
• Internet: to load advertisements served by Google AdMob.
• Access Network State: required by Google AdMob to determine whether the device has a working internet connection.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at the URL where you originally found this policy. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
